Representing Requirements in Natural Language as Concept Lattices

چکیده
We have developed a viewpoint development approach to identify and reconcile di erences between stakeholder requirements. The initial phase in our approach seeks to provide a formal solution to the problem of converting requirements descriptions in natural language into a computer processable representation. After the group brainstorms the functional requirements in the form of use cases, natural language descriptions are entered by individual stakeholders for each alternative viewpoint. LinkGrammar is used by ExtrAns to translate the use case sentences into at logical forms (FLFs). FLFs are used to create crosstables. Formal Concept Analysis uses the crosstables to develop a graphical representation of the viewpoints and to assist comparison of terms and concepts. We call our approach RECOCASE as we o er a CASE (computer aided software engineering) tool to assist with viewpoint RECOnciliation. This paper focuses on the translation of natural language into crosstables to allow the generation of concept lattices and subsequent comparison of viewpoints.

Linguistic Characteristics of Nouns Representing the Concept of “Power” in American Political Discourse
The article analyzes the linguistic nature of some nuclear lexemes (power, control, authority, influence) verbalizing the basic concept of the English-language political discourse – the concept of “Power”. The paper reveals the structure of the concept, its conceptual features, as well as the main characteristics of the concept representatives at the language and functional levels.
متن کاملOn generalized topological molecular lattices
In this paper, we introduce the concept of the generalized topological molecular lattices as a generalization of Wang's topological molecular lattices, topological spaces, fuzzy topological spaces, L-fuzzy topological spaces and soft topological spaces. Topological molecular lattices were defined by closed elements, but in this new structure we present the concept of the open elements and defi...
متن کاملA Sheaf Model of Contradictions and Disagreements. Preliminary Report and Discussion
We introduce a new formal model – based on the mathematical construct of sheaves – for representing contradictory information in textual sources. This model has the advantage of letting us (a) identify the causes of the inconsistency; (b) measure how strong it is; (c) and do something about it, e.g. suggest ways to reconcile inconsistent advice. This model naturally represents the distinction b...

The verbal interaction among students, teachers, parents, and school administrators plays a significant role in achieving educational goals as the language used in educational settings while mirroring the dominant educational culture, functions as an important tool in shaping and reshaping their beliefs. Thus, the culture language in any educational setting needs to be studied in order to ident...
